Shavonn is Founder of Think and Ink Grant Consulting™ providing grant writing and grant consulting services to nonprofit organizations. She is also Co-Founder of Blue Flowers Org, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization empowering women and the men in their lives against prostate cancer. Shavonn's grandfather lost his fight against prostate cancer in 2014. Realizing the role the women in her family played in the care of her grandfather, she has been committed to supporting other women and their families in the fight against prostate cancer.
Shavonn earned a BBA from Howard University in 2003 with a strong desire to help others enrich their financial lives. She started her 14-year career in the financial services industry as a Financial Advisor.
In 2012, Shavonn earned an MBA from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University and was recruited to participate in Bank of America's two-year Consumer MBA Leadership Development Program. At the completion of the Consumer MBA Leadership Development Program, Shavonn worked in the Enterprise Business and Community Engagement office at Bank of America. She executed Bank of America's corporate social responsibility initiatives supporting grant and sponsorships for Atlanta-based nonprofit organizations.
Shavonn continues to help the community by supporting nonprofit organizations in securing grant funding through Think and Ink Grant Consulting™. She also works with families in underserved communities affected by prostate cancer and connecting them to prostate cancer education and awareness resources through Blue Flowers Org's three programs: Prostate Cancer Care 360, Bridging the Gap and Prostate Cancer Education Connections.
